Our Story
Inspiration
Losing my father to cancer in 2018 was the worst experience I have ever had. Mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, I was drained and unsure if I wanted to continue on with my life. A couple years after losing my father, my son was born. Shortly after his mother and I split.
At the point of my father being gone and my family being broken, thoughts and feelings of wanting to take my life only got stronger. When the moment came for me to do so, and I overlooked my city for the "last time", I had a change of perspective.
Reflecting on what I was about to do, put into perspective that taking my life during an emotional breaking point would be selfish of me, and would do more harm to my son and family. At that moment I turned away from my, then, decision, drove home, and rededicated my life to God in March of 2020.
In 2021, I gave birth to the idea of From My Perspective with the knowing and understanding that, a change in my Perspective is what saved my life, and could be the very next thing someone else needs to save theirs.
What is From My Perspective
From My Perspective (FMP) is a customizable conversation experience designed to spark meaningful discussions, deeper connections, and real human interaction.
Using conversation cubes and prompt tiles, players are encouraged to share stories, perspectives, emotions, and ideas in a way that feels natural, engaging, and open-minded.
